I NEVER trace, I don't use reference unless specifically mentioned, And that includes any sort of reference, like pose-maniacs, dolls and other things.
I am completely self taught, and thats me in my avatar, I love drawing myself, so I do that a lot ;P (I guess I am my most studied subject ;P)
