New paint brush tool and 25 new brushes for smudge and eraser
Hello,
Here come the current updates on Queeky:

a) New paint-brush-tool! Create amazing effects in combination with
b) 25 new brushes which you can use with eraser, smudge and paint-brush-tool!
c) I am currently working on the first Queeky competition including amazing prizes.
Our first competition will start soon on 12. Juli 2009!

General design update

Queeky comes with a fresh design.
Logged in users can switch the color theme from default to green, blue and red.

The new design is still in beta.
There may be display errors in IE6, so please use Firefox or any other modern browser or upgrade to IE8.

After all: don't forget to draw !

duplicate layer - drawing dejavu

I duplicated the layers of a line drawing (071709 almost midnight). I merged the layers. The playback plays back the linework three times. It's a little weird to see it drawing over the same linework over and over. It's like drawing dejavu.

I saw your posting on Concept Art. It's a start. I laughed at the person who was whining about no pressure sensitivity, and small pixel sizes. Funny, I only see the coolness of your work and watch in wonder as the images play. And the sharing.

The long haul, the long road, that is what the art is about.

Draw hard.

Yes, if you duplicate the lines will repeat.

Yes, I couldn't believe how the people on there reacted.
Man, I simply was offering them a chance to win some money.
All they could say and think was skeptikal and offending.
I don't think that anybody there did take a real look on the things here.

Duplicate layer - Great

The best online drawing site in the world.

That was astounding, I opened a new drawing and there it was. I certainly do not know your magic, but the duplicate layer is perfect, this combined with the transparency of the layers, I can really dial in just the right tone and color.

You know that "z22" or "shb" created smashing images using your Queeky. They are definitely at the caliber of Conceptart.org. If they posted on Conceptart.org, they could open a lot of eyes. And they used the old Queeky too. Could you contact them? I am just a troll with a wacom tablet.

The "Tipping Point", there are currently 13 users and 10 guests online. How to reach a tipping point so that is doubled or tripled or multiplied by a hundred. Another of my favorite website is gorrillaartfare.com. The artists are half digital and half old school. I believe that with your new tools people will take notice, and they will also be amazed by the magic that can happen on your site.

Keep up the great magic. I'll get posting again.

No magic, I'm just fascinated and kind of addicted in this community and the developement of the tools
I think the replay of the drawings enriches each image to a multiple, because it shows a part of the artwork that usally is unrecognized.
Showing this missing link (lol) on Queeky is my contribution to art.
(of course there are a few other tools including a replay feature of drawings, but I would love more apps to have this feature; Queeky is kind of spezialized in this issue)

I would love to see more artists here like you said, but I think it's just a question of time.
Btw: I think Queeky already has got some amazing and faithful users, some of them are here for a long time and some new skilled artists come here every day.
I emailed Z22 some days ago but no answer. His website is not availble too. Maybe he is in problems.

Duplicate Layer

I like the new image size options (portrait, landscape, small, medium and large).
Is it possible to fully duplicate a layer including all of the linework so I would have two layers of the same things? The reason for this is that part of the power of multiply is to be able to multiply a number of times. Frequently when my linework is to light, I just duplicate and then multiply the layer. The same goes for color, pale colors can be made deeper by duplicating and then multiplying layers.
Great job of development. Have you had contact with conceptart.org. They have digital sketchbooks, but it would be amazing to see some of their artists go crazy in Queeky. Whenever I check out the conceptart sketchbook forum, there are ususally 200 - 300 artists online checking things out.

Sometimes it is more easy to describe a project not from the developers view
