I justo love your colors, but tell me something, those character? from where they come? for sure you use lots of references but is true what your imagination has no limits, i want to create characters like yours, give us a hint
Most of them are from some photo which I think they are very interesting; you know, when you surf in the net you see those little photo and pictures, you click on them and woww... The content maybe not as what you think before or sometimes you thought you see some other things in them. Mostly I catch that sudden imagine and make drawings base on that guide line. And some of them are developed from some old sketching which I did long before, like some people say, you got to drop notes and sketch when you got some funny ideas. You may already did that too, it is joyful to go over those crazy old idea. Ammm... that's not very special, I think, but I try my best! Hope helps!
