Good attempt...
realistic animals are pretty hard to do because of the fur/hair. I find that if I start from the darkest to the lightest and I use a lower opacity for the strokes maybe like 50% it helps. I try to end up with the lightest color on top so it shows the lighting, and of course the darker for the shading. The eye on the farthest side should be a bit bigger. Really good attempt though, keep it up you are improving a lot since you started.
