Homeless Dinner ← a people drawing by Kutedymples![]() by kutedymples Homeless DinnerI found a very sad photograph and it touched my heart. Not everyone is lucky enough to have a roof over thier heads and a warm meal for thier belly. This is more real than it should be, and happening somewhere now.

Homeless
Its a true fact of life that there are all over the world many homeless...i would say that i deal with about four a week working at my local hospital...coming into contact with these people can make you very humble, we take for granted in our lives...and tend to forget ...a great way to highlight there plight Kute....well done.
Homeless
This is a sad situation many do find themselves in, especially those who have family who could help them but instead they have to lean on the help of strangers because of being shunned by family or those who just don't want to be bothered. Nice portrayal of this sadness. I never understood why family is many times the last ones to care for their own and how a stranger can give open heatedly, but even worse... that stranger many times will gladly help someone they don't know yet ignore someone in their own family who is in desperate need of their help. This is a strange world we live in.
Kudos to you JelEfshQEn for your volunteer work, you touched peoples hearts in ways you may not even know how. Very nice draw K, nice details and content.
Thank you...
for the awesome comment. I feel strongly about it as well I am originally from Flint, MI and they have a very high rate of homeless people. Although they have many shelters and food banks there are still people that are starving and freezing to death. The winter is bad up there, and also bad for the homeless. I really want to thank you, not only for the comment for your sense of honor volunteering to help out the needy. It is a great service you do and I am sure the people that you help serve consider you an angel.

great draw, very true
i've volunteered at a place that gives breakfast, showers and coffee to homeless or low income people every saturday. you have no idea how true it is that we have homeless people who live like the person in this photograph. many are drug addicts who got kicked out by their families, and are living in their cars. a lot of them ride around on bikes, and sleep on park benches... there are even entire families that had their house forclosed upon or something, but no matter how it happened, they now have no where to stay. and i live in montana. you wouldn't think there would be such a problem in a place with so few people, but sometimes when i volunteer we have over 30 people come in who need to take their one shower of the week. think how many there would be in a place like... Seattle, or LA. Los Vegas. any major city is going to have hundreds of homeless people. i'm sorry for the super-long comment, but this is something i feel very strongly about.
