I always appreciate your comments and rates. I don't know why I chose her to draw, maybe because she was one of my favorite comediennes when I was growing up. I also loved her red hair and her huge eyes. :
I don't remember the sitcom, I was very young when it aired but watching the video I thought it was hysterical. I guess that's why I didn't know who Joan Davis was. I do now and I will be looking at more you tube videos of her. I loved her facial expressions too, the best!
I remember a movie and it was two old sisters called "Whatever happened to Baby Jane" and I loved that movie. It was really creepy, and when I was a kid that movie scared the daylights out of me. I never forget Bette Davis after that. I know there is "Joan Crawford" too she played in a lot of creepy movies a long time ago.
no, Joan Davis...the show was called I Married Joan....Jim Backus played her hubby....her real name was madonna josephine davis....she could do some really incredible body stunts...almost like she was made out of rubber....when i was a kid they played her show and i love lucy front to back...lucy always made me nervous. i thought she was too dumb
