Say Hello ... dont be shy! ← an animals drawing by Wungu in group „How do you do?”![]() by wungu Say Hello ... dont be shy!I saw a picture similar to this on the interent and it made me smile with that little slightly startled hedgehoggy face! I might come back and do some more work on the hands but then again maybe I'll leave them be? Don't hedgehogs have big feet and long toes?

How cute is this!
Really nice work here, and you must have submitted this when I was offline because this is the first I am seeing of it. That is one adorable animal. To me they look like they would be very pokey like a porcupine. I have never seen one in person. I really have to add this one to my favorite folder that expression on the hedgehogs face is priceless!

Prickly ...
They are pokey like a porcupine - but much shorter prickles all over their back and more furry underneath (figures because curling up on one's own prickles would be very uncomfortable!). They don't 'fire' their prickles like a porcupine can so they curl up tight in a ball for protection - I see quite a few like that because they hide from the dog! It is funny they are so adorable and yet we have the expression "prickly as a hedgehog" to describe someone in a sensitive mood! What really fascinates me though, and the reason I drew this one , is that although we usually see them shuffling along they have surprisingly long legs and when they run they sort of jack themselves up and use those great big feet to move really quick.
