Last week I made a comment that if we all took up our brushes we could paint a stripe around the world because our Queeky community includes so many people form many different countries. Katykeen21 painted her part of the stripe and now I am adding mine with an addition ...a thought for the people of Japan (the land of the rising sun) to send them prayers/thoughts of love (the calligraphy says love) for recovery. The background is a pattern created with a palette I designed at COLOURLovers.com in remembrance of this natural disaster because I want to connect the places that I am creative together and encourage everyone to do what they can. If you don't have skills to offer directly to the people of Japan and you don't have money to send, keeping them in your hearts and minds in the coming days can make a difference.
