I guess that's what I could call myself then. I am not educated as far as famous artist go. I know what I love to look at and I looked up some of those painters, thank you for the lesson in art. They are wonderful. I like talking to you, I learned something today. Thank you.
thank you for your wonderful compliment. drawing is one of a few things i can do. i like music and drawing. so i mix it. your gallery is lovely. yellow butterfly is so cute. keep drawing you will learn.
Thank you for your humble comment on my picture. I use reference pictures for some of my art, some reference pictures are of my grandchildren that are in the form of photographs, some reference pictures are from the net or books. Whenever I use a reference picture I always put my own spin on the art that I create. Colors, etc. or change it to suit what I want to draw. If someone makes art from looking at a tree, it would be the same thing to me as to use a reference picture. Famous artists have drawn this way for hundreds of years. It is how I learn, and perfect my hobby. Everything I draw I put my heart and soul into. I work on it until I feel I cannot do anymore and I don't draw things that do not interest me. I thank you for your kind words. I can not usually see pictures in my head, so using a picture or an item to look at is the only way for me to create art.
