There are Wacom tablets that run up around $100 or more, but I can't afford that. My first tablet was made by aiptek. I paid right around $40 for it. I also bought an i-ball tablet, they don't make them in the U.S. but I was lucky enough to get one off from ebay for about $25.00 and that is the one I use most. You can also go to Amazon.com and type in pen tablets and you will see many that come up. They will all work for what you need it for so don't worry about the brand name. I like my i-ball tablet because it also came with a cordless mouse. It is not large either, I found the bigger the tablet the more work it is to try to create a drawing. I prefer the smaller tablets like 6x8 instead of the larger ones that are 10 x whatever or larger. My aiptek tablet is one of the larger ones and it is actually easier to draw on a smaller tablet. I hope this helps, if you would like me to locate a good one for you in a certain price range let me know and I will do the research for you and send you the link.
