um.. I am a 27 yr old nursing student. I am also a writer and an artist. I enjoy writing poetry and short stories. My favorite medium is arcylics and pen/ink. I have recently been playing with digital art (manipulating photos and freehand drawing in art programs) but honestly I consider myself a novice. I do not own a drawing tablet which i believe would make things easier as drawing with a mouse is a pain in the butt. I have 5 pets (2 guinea pigs, 2 rabbits and one cat). I enjoy reading, time with friends, loud music, and outdoor activities.
my profile pic is a piece I did outside of qweeky.com. That's my cat, Mowgli. I overlayed a pic I had of him with solid colors then used the pic to detail him freehand. I think he came out incredible!
*NOTE: some of my pieces, such as Real Woman (the nude) have undergone further editing off-site (plus work I have done outside of queeky..like the cat in my profile pic) is available for your viewing pleasure on my myspace page which is listed as my url.

I switched easy as pie and it works perfectly! PLUS i can keep explorer if another site works better with that.. thanx so much for the tip (and the comment about movites)

what is firefox? is it easy to use and free to get? Is it compatible with everything. i use internet explorer.
probs
1. run out of ink: less ink is used if you use the fill option instead of painting in with lines. less ink is used too, if you set a thicker line size. there is a need of defining a certain amout of ink, otherwise some pics get too bic for the database and the browsers.
2. only one of your pics is commented, if i click it i can see the comment. if you dont see pictures after clicking them, it may be a browser problem. what browser do you use (try firefox)?

not sure who to talk to.. but 99% of the time I try to view a pic it comes up blank (siting errors on the page) .. I am able to look at pics if I click the JPG link as though I am planning to download it. and I cannot see comments on any of my pics! (or leave any on anyone elses.) only comments here on profile! PLS if someone sees this tell me who to direct it to or if there is a trick to helping me pls do so
