My brother Bill that just had half of his lung removed about two weeks ago just had to go in this morning for Emergency Surgery. His bowels were compacted and they erupted, having to have his spleen and his colon removed he just came out of surgery less than half an hour ago. The doctors told Mom he has a 50/50 chance.

Just A Pinch an Awesome New Recipe Club

Who doesn't like to cook? Well...if you don't like to cook, who doesn't like to eat? LOL I have found a fairly new Recipe Club network and it is quite an awesome website. I joined a few days ago and it is very addictive. I wish you all would check it out, if you do join my member name there is Susie LaLonde....you can look me up if you want. The cool thing about it is that it is not just a Recipe website.

My New Challenge *Photo Re-Coloring

I have a Challenge for every Queeky artist. I recently restored an old photo, I tried to add color to it after I restored it and it is not an easy task. I am not used to coloring over a photo so needless to say my photo coloring turned out terrible. I had a great idea today to make this into a fun challenge for any artist here at Queeky that would like to give it a shot. There are no guidelines to go by as far as color or style that you use(except that the original photo must show through).

This is so unique and interesting. I had never heard or seen this type of art until today to my knowledge. I would love to try this. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
