Aimless is good

I like your use of manga, I wouldn't call the drawings stupid. They are fun more than funny and nice regardless of the word used to name them. I always count syllables and letters, doesn't everyone? Smile

thanks

this will probably sound too intellectual, but there seems to be some controversy over the word "manga" which translates loosely as "aimless"(man) "drawing"(ga)...and just about everybody says it first seeped into the english language in 1951, but i have a book that describes the Hokusai "manga" that were a gift to the new york metropolitan museum by howard mansfield in 1911....i like the word and would like to use it for some of my stupid drawings ....not that manga are stupid, but i dislike the word cartoon because it implies funny...i prefer aimless to funny at least occasionally....because if fits better and it's short...just two syllables, 5 letters, but who's counting?
