... I think we are just going through a quiet spell know for comments; I have noticed it too. Maybe we just have so many good artists it is becoming harder to leave meaningful comments for everyone?
There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it. Edith Wharton
I agree with you about our great artists here. There has been a wave of really good artists here lately and I think it is wonderful. I don't mind not getting many comments (I'm not complaining even in the least about my drawings) but there has been so many really good drawings lately that go completely un-noticed. I try to comment on those drawings. Artists get discouraged and then don't draw anymore and I think those artists need encouragement to become top artists here. Sometimes it seems like only 2 or 3 artists get all of the comments and then none for some of the other drawings that aren't spectacular but are just really good get no comments at all. (

that is your artistic touches on this portrait ... the delicate and sensitive creates a sophisticated elegance and the wise choice of brushes makes her a very professionally polished picture ... I love it Susie.
... now if you will excuse me I am off to buy some of that rather lovely armour ... only for when my gallant knight is permitted a day off you understand ...
