Yes, I realize that. I think that the reference photo that I used for this was not taken in Islam. It was a photograph I found on National Geographics website. Thank you so much for your nice words about my drawing. I really appreciate the feedback on my work!
IN MANY AREAS OF THE WORLD SCARF ARE USED NOT BEING THE HEJAB, EVEN IF THE COLOR OF THE SKIN, THE EYES, ARE ALMOST THE SAME AS IN THE ISLAMIC WORLD, THERE ARE HABITS, CULTURES THAT USE IT AND NOT COVER ENTIRELY THE HAIR!!!!SOME AREA EVEN IN RUSSIA, ETC...
really cute drawing, the scarf looks like silk and soft. Looks like one maybe her Grandmother wrapped around her head or like in the Ukraine where they wear scarfs like this. Very nice details in the scarf...Well done.. Very pretty eyes.
Your style really does justice to these children paintings you have done ... and has given me an idea for a new feature for Queeky (on way to forum in a moment) I would love to be able to open a folder in your gallery and see the child pictures you have done all sitting side by side (eg the Amish child, the peruvian baby, friends, etc).
Back to this picture, lovely textures in hair, brows, lashes; love the tongue popping out; even skin times; pattern detail and highlights on the headscarf and those tiny details that bring the background into the painting. Just Beautiful.

and yes that would be a wonderful feature here at Queeky. I have often wanted to arrange my artwork in a different manner than oldest to newest. I hope the changes come soon too, I am very excited about the future here at Queeky. Thanks for taking the time to go into detail about my picture, I did really enjoy doing this one and it is so nice to see so many nice comments and that the time I took is appreciated. Hugs!
You all know already that I love your comments! My heart is full from your wonderful words. I am very tired this evening and I do think it is time to go relax and watch a movie before bed. But I will be back early in the morning as usual. Have a wonderful rest of the evening here without me. Hugs to you all and thanks again!
Have a nice time with the rest of your evening as well, Kute :> Rest up and relax, you deserve it after taking the time to create what you do Same goes to everyone
