I do like this not because it makes me feel very sad, but there is such a hopeless feeling that this shows. You really did get the feel of the homeless person. ( Sometimes it is artwork like this that makes a person know just how thankful they are for what they have. Really nice work!

If the background can be a bit different tone or brightness, I think the character will be much more outstanding. Just a personal opinion, hope you don't mind.

There is no problem pppman. i have no reason to be mad of ur opinion. I think criticism is beneficial and I take it seriosly. First time i tried to make it a light brown, but it seems to "clear"...and 2nd time , in green, but it would have changed the effect of dirt and i didn't want that.
