WE JUST OBSERVE COLORS, COUNT HOW MANY DOTS THEY HAVE, WHAT SHAPE, FROM RED OR ORANGE ESSPECIALY APPRIACIATE RARE YELLOW ONES, AND LET THEM GO THINKING ABOUT LUCK. GUESS WHAT IN THE MIDDLE OF BUSY NYC, I GOT THIS SUMMER IN MY ROOM FEW TIMES LADY BUGS AND I DO SAME AS A SMALL GIRL.

What beautiful ladies they are too...the water drops are amazing, the colours, detail, light, shade and refelections just beautiful, you put so much work into every painting you do. Fantastic work Marilyn.
Here in England we call them Ladybirds...and the verse that goes with this is much the same as here too. As children whenever we saw a Ladybird we would hold it in our hand softly blow it into the air and make a wish.
