I just love old trees with so much Character. This is so well done. Great job..
YOU ARE DOING SO WELL IN HERE!!!
as you know after doing this, trees can be very time consuming to draw. You have done well, I like the simple colors in this picture too it adds drama to your picture and it is interesting to look at.

the pic has a great effect looks little spooky to me, I am geetha from TD.
Hi Geeta. I suspected that was you. Nice to see you here and thanks for comment.
the tree's branches gives a different effect to the drawing.it feels like there is a tattoo tree placed on a photo. Nice b'n'w.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
The background is really pretty and offsets the starkness of the tree off really well. Trees are really tricky, but like you I am fascinated by their shapes and the almost abstract effect of their bare branches in winter.
One tip for drawing 'naked' trees - every tree type has a different body shape so try fixing your mind on one particular tree eg an Oak and have a look for some online photographs of that particular species before you start. It is the same for trees in leaf too - the structure of the branches and leaves together gives every type a distinctive shape.
There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it. Edith Wharton
Really don't know. Can never tell, but know that leafless trees are fascinating to me.
Nice lighting. I guess it's still alive.
