“an old barn that is local here in our town, to be torn down soon so I thought I would draw it so at least the memory of it will live on in the drawing.”

SADLY OLD THINGS HAVE TO GO, BUT IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL IDEA PLACING SUCH VIEW INTO PAINTING TO BRING BACK MEMORIES, OR FOR YOUNGER GENERATIONS TO BE ABLE TO SEE IT!

I am sure you have seen many of these old barns as well living here in Kentucky. I have to stop and take a picture whenever I see one and this is the first one I have the chance to re-create so far. I have many more reference photos that I would love to do someday whenever I can find the time. Thank you so much Babs!
