Practice Fine details

“I used a reference for the eye shape and skin tone my aim here was to practice the finer detailing the iris, the shine and the finest of lashes and brows ... oh and using the airbrush to smooth out rather than relying on the smudge tool”

So gentle.

I love the soft colours, you drew this amazingly.

That iris is gorgeous and I love the little shimmers of white. (:

Wow so beautiful!

That's so beautiful, I think that with a bit more shading this will be a masterpiece! awesome colors and it's so detailed, as if you are a "god" when creating the human eye... 5\5!

Awwww thanks Freezeheat ...

:Cool I worked hard on this so it is lovely to see your words but I think I am far from mastering drawing eyes yet ...

When it comes to shading you and I are opposite ends of the spectrum aren't we - it scares me in case the colours get muddied (that's the watercolourist in me) BUT I used blue to create the shadow on the skin tone and by using the airbrush I didn't have the 'muddy' problems I have had before so next time I'll make it just a little darker ...

Thank you again

You are an amazing artist,

You are an amazing artist, not only because of your skill, but because you want to improve and you know how... that's very important and it's not easy.

you should know that youv'e done an amazing job here for all to see, you should be proud of yourself!

I said it needed more shadowing because of my nature to do so, don't take my advice if it doesn't suit you Laughing out loud, after all we are the oppisites when it comes to that matter.... Laughing out loud
