I don't think it is fair to rate a pic like this with one star.
But i think it is not fair to leave Queeky and all your friends on here just because of a low vote by one stupid member.
On he other hand, I can't really believe your decission, this great pic has 17 votes, and it looks like just one vote is low....
I think Ernie is right, Queeky is all about sharing, learning, teaching and having fun.
I must say I am a little sad if you decide to leave ...

First off, congratulations on and thank you for the new server! The speed improvement is remarkable!
Also, I would like to thank you for all the hard work that you have done for us, and for your patience in dealing with so many people.
I am also glad that now there is a policy to at least deal with bad anonymous voters. In my opinion, the new policy will encourage more users to sign up. Although it may take a little more time for any good painting to collect enough votes to get to the front page, once it gets there, it will stay longer to showcase the site. So, it is a win-win situation.
Finally, thank you very much for your friendly offer. I am currently in sumopaint, but I always refer users there to come here (at queeky) if they asked about the paintings that I made here. (Fortunately, I had a few eye-catching paintings, so it took no time for me to make friends there!) Of course, I will certainly come back here to paint and catch up with my friends here. I would not miss it for the world.

Come on Kwik....this is not a site about who gets the most votes!....sure everyone wants to be popular and reconized for there talent....anyone can see that you are a talented artist but to throw your dummy out over a star is a little over the top even for you my friend.
This is a site where you can learn, grow, meet other artist, have fun, share, create, and so on....this is how i see queeky, there are competitions here on queeky if you want to be competitive but lets be more mature about it eh!

i actually met a girl who looked like her....her name was robyn i thnk==I can appreciate your honesty, but i don't know if you should really take peoples' reactions to you so seriously...not that we all don't at least occasionally, but it's really a no-no in terms of navigation.

Thank you for your comment, KP. I am glad you enjoyed the piece. I have done quite a few years of figure drawing from life, with male/female models ranging up to 60 years old (nude/non-nude). In retrospect, one thing I have learned is all of them (ranging from 20-21 to 60-something years old, male and female) ARE BEAUTIFUL! It is OUR JOB, the artist's, to find what it is that makes them beautiful, and express it. That is why painting people is fascinating to me. It is a challenge and joy each time I paint them.
That said, it is time to go. Hope to see you around.
